Wow, you look good for a 79 year-old, Patrick Swayze. What's your secret?

Why Are You Not Making The E Rating Sequel Of Speed Master? I WANNA SEE THE KITTENS NOW! DDDXXXXXXX

Nice taters! Also Ramtime rules.

Hey thanks for playing Ramtime!

You need to rip the grass bro ! potatoes will grow more efficient that way :P and pile the earth around the tulip of the potato plant !Btw you look like dexter (the killer not the scientist :D :D )

AW, GAY; TOM REMOVED CASTLE CAT.

Man, when did he become such a pussy?

It's still there. I submitted it under another nick name (wiesi-mausland).

Phew, thank God. I worried because Tom has been on a warpath with NG's classic Flash submissions; glad to know it's still here.

You are young for your age.

Curious if you're still planting potatoes and stuff? Or this a one time thing?

Please come back.

I'm still here. Also I'm working on a new game, so please stay tuned!! :)

you look's handsome

@Wiesi is mausland.de down??

Still curious if you're still planting potatoes and stuff? ;)

Well no, these days I'm learning a lot for an exam at the beginning of december.

Oh! Intriguing. Branching out from game-development? Though maybe you have for a while now...?

Good luck!

My game-developement is on a hold, since it's really hard to make any money from it these days. In order to get a job in one of the graphic agencies here I have to get a degree and that's what I'm learning for.

Aha... hope it goes according to plan then. Feels like self-employment would be the ideal, but maybe not? Maybe you've tried freelancing with these things too over the years?

Yeah, I worked as a freelancer my whole life, but that means you're doing the work mostly alone in your room. That resulted in loneliness and depressions. Well to overcome that, my plan is to work in an office with other peoples. But to get hired you need a degree. At least in most cases.

We're living the opposite lives hmm, I'm currently working in an office and dreaming of going solo instead. :) Of course it depends so much on where you work; what kind of colleagues you have, but the lure of flexible times, and actually working towards your own vision; directing all your efforts towards something you believe in; all earnings you contribute to having a direct effect on you personally... it's an alluring prospect! Guess there are certain downsides too though.

Really being responsible for your own well-being maybe the biggest one. No sick days. No safety net if profits dwindle, probably a lot of overtime required to get by unless you really get lucky/have a skillset like no other... yeah, scary path with that in mind too! Regarding loneliness though, it seems over here at least there are some offices for freelancers in particular, everyone just rents their own space. Bit more like a studio but you still earn what you earn yourself/work on your own projects. My nephew rents an office space like that; seems to be doing well so far,.

Anyway hope you find the perfect spot for you!

What's up you handsome devil?

Lol! You're still alive! That's awesome!! How is it going? Still working on games? I tried my hands on Gdevelop, well you can see the result in the trailer i uploaded (I forgot the name lol, something with "Quest"), but unfortunately the project became so complicated that i lost track of everything. I don't know, Flash was the best imo.

@BoMToons @Wiesi Yes, still alive! Good to see you poking around here as well :-)

I'm working as a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area (CA) as my day job, but also working on a couple game-related side projects.

One is a project with @Luis that is a reboot of Castle Crashing the Beard using Game Maker Studio 2 (which I found to be a pretty easy transition from Flash, though nothing beats how easy it was to animate/draw assets in Flash and have them immediately ready for code...)

The other is kind of an "augmented reality" game platform that accompanies IRL axe-throwing. It's been really fun to work on and uses web-sockets for real-time updates on a projected axe target.

hey Wiesi, will we ever get a mars shark? and i have some ideas for a shark game, like Panama shark, and have a lot of cargo ships like the one in new york shark; italy shark, with the mario bros as a boss, and Brazil shark.

Happy new year Wiesi! Looking forward to your potential grand jam-related return to Flash soon if time allowed it! ;)

Happy new year to you, too!! Haha, yeah we will see how that goes. I'm still looking for some good ideas. Something without sharks, since I'm really fed up with them lol. At the moment I'm juggling around with some oldschool shooter elements. Drew a martian city for a background and did some space ships. :)

Haha, I missed the 'without' there at first. XD Sharks in space with a more traditional shooter element hmm... sounded intriguing! An otherwordly showcase of craze and shark-riddled interplanetary carnage! But even without those more worldly water-based beasts: interesting...

Potential ideas. Playing as Elon Musk on a conquest against the monsters of Mars, which turned out to be all but as void of life as it first seemed? An Alien Hominid spin-off where you visit his home planet and battle leagues of his very aggressive kin? A strange intergalactic brawler where you play as E.T. on your way back to your home world? Feel free to borrow any of those if they inspire something. :) Looking forward to seeing where this goes...
